Film
making is as much an art form... |
...as
poetry and sculpture. The art and science of creating a
visually elegant and emotionally fulfilling wedding
documentary is a process born in technology but formed
by human emotion. The proliferation of cheap video
technology has multiplied the numbers of video makers.
But what, really, is art without creativity and
experience? Bad art. Enough said. For years, the wedding
video was the bane of many a bride's existence. Poor
lighting - or too much light in everyone's faces, bad
sound, cheesy effects that overwhelm the subtlety of
tender, emotional scenes... the list goes on. The
biggest reason for this messiness was, and still can be,
the number of “weekend warriors” in the field of wedding
videography who attempt to accomplish something for
which they have neither know-how nor creativity. And
then there's Uncle Bob, but we'll get to him later...

What we
value more than anything... |
|
...is
hearing from our couples again, months after they've
received their video, earnestly telling us how valuable
and important it has become to them. Our goal is simple:
To create a lush and timeless documentary that will
bring your wedding day to life accurately, again and
again, without ever becoming stale or dated. It's one
thing to have a wedding album filled with beautiful
family portraits, but it's another thing altogether when
those “portraits” come to life and move elegantly,
naturally, in rich color with studio-quality sound.
Indeed, you'll see not just what your guests looked
like, you'll hear them laugh - and perhaps even see them
wipe away a tear - as they share the wondrous
experiences of your most special day. |

Uncle Bob
may have his own camera... |
...and
it certainly is cheaper to let him do the job of a professional,
but do you really want an amateur struggling to capture memories
that your grandchildren will cherish? That's a scary thought
to us, like entrusting your wedding dress to a friend who
just bought a sewing machine. We bring to the job not only
the latest HD technology, but decades of wedding, corporate
video and television experience as well. Take this heart:
Anyone can pick up a brush and splash some paint on canvas,
but it takes a master of his or her art to create a work that
will please the viewer forever. |
